I’m Danny Green, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, also making music as DG Solaris. I help people write, play and record their own music, with sessions shaped around what they want to make.
Songwriting & Recording
From developing a new idea to recording a collection of finished songs, I offer a space to work on your music with an experienced songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist.
You might want a fresh pair of ears on your writing, help finding the right arrangement, or someone to record and build up your tracks with you. We can work closely on the songs themselves or focus on capturing what you’ve already written.
I can record vocals and any instruments and can contribute electric, acoustic and nylon guitar, bass guitar, piano, synths, vocals and real or programmed drums. You bring your influences and ideas, and we work together to make something that feels like you.
I work with experienced musicians, people returning to music and those writing their first songs. Sessions can be a one-off, a regular collaboration or part of a larger recording project.
£60 per hour
For larger recording projects, get in touch and we’ll agree the scope and cost beforehand.

Guitar Lessons
Relaxed, practical lessons built around music you enjoy.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to move beyond familiar chords, we can work on songs, technique, rhythm, musical understanding and playing with more confidence.
Lessons are tailored to your interests and experience, with something manageable to work on between sessions.
£50 for 60 minutes
£40 for 45 minutes
£30 for 30 minutes
Adults and children aged six and upwards. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
About Me
I’ve spent the past twenty years writing songs, making records and performing across the UK and Europe, releasing music as Laish and DG Solaris.
Alongside my own music, I’ve worked with people taking their first musical steps and songwriters developing material for release. I enjoy getting involved in someone else’s ideas and helping them find a way forward.
