Danny has been my teacher for the past year or so and the sessions have been nothing short of brilliant. He's both an intuitive teacher and an inspirational musician. His patience, kind nature and gentle encouragement is what keeps me coming back. As someone that has come to guitar as an adult I really appreciate Danny's ability to pace things appropriately, explain music theory without overloading me with information and adapt the lessons on the fly. Danny is amazing! We’ve been working together for about 6 months, originally we were improving my guitar skills, learning covers of songs I liked. Now, I am writing songs and Danny is able to take them and add everything needed to make them into music which is what I’ve always wanted to do. I fumbled around on the guitar for years just strumming chords, learning some songs but never really improving. By luck I found Danny online and started lessons with him. I was really interested to learn finger picking and improve my technique. Danny got my finger moving from the first lesson. He taught me songs I had always really wanted to learn but thought too hard. With his patient teaching style and encouragement to read tab properly I improved quickly and started to really enjoy playing and practising. I had also wanted to learn about song writing and spent quite a few lessons looking into music theory and song structure. This was a real eye opener and has given me some confidence to try and write my own songs. Danny is a great guitar teacher and I always enjoy learning from him. And I especially love that I can now play Street Spirit by Radiohead, one of my all time favourite songs! ***** Chris
