Guitar and Ukulele Tuition

I offer one-to-one and group guitar and ukulele lessons at my home studio in Rode, Somerset, and online. I have been teaching guitar and ukulele for twelve years in both individual and group settings. My lessons are a mix of learning songs, finger exercises, scales and music theory. I also love to encourage creativity, singing, songwriting and performing.

I first picked up a guitar when I was 13 and my cousin taught me how to play the first two chords of About a Girl by Nirvana - and that was enough, I was hooked! I have played guitar almost every day of my life since. I write and produce songs every week and I am always striving to improve my own playing and learn more about music.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

I teach students of all ages from 6 years and upwards.

I am based in Rode, Somerset/Wiltshire area, near Frome, Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Southwick, Bath, Bristol.

Danny has been my teacher for the past year or so and the sessions have been nothing short of brilliant. He's both an intuitive teacher and an inspirational musician. His patience, kind nature and gentle encouragement is what keeps me coming back.

As someone that has come to guitar as an adult I really appreciate Danny's ability to pace things appropriately, explain music theory without overloading me with information and adapt the lessons on the fly.

For anyone wondering if guitar YouTube tutorials are good enough to get by on. I can tell you that they're not and you need to give Danny a call ASAP.
