I'm Danny Green, a musician and guitar teacher based in Rode, Somerset. I teach adults and children, with one-to-one lessons shaped around your interests and what you'd like to learn.

Let's start with what you enjoy.
You might have a particular song you'd love to play, want to sing along with your guitar, or feel stuck playing the same few chords. That's a good place to begin.
We can work on chords, rhythm, fingerpicking, technique and understanding how music fits together, using songs to put those skills into practice.
There's room to ask questions, try things out and go over anything that hasn't clicked yet. If writing your own songs interests you, we can explore that too.
A lesson that fits you.
New to guitar?
We'll take it step by step, from getting comfortable with the instrument to playing chords and putting your first songs together. You don't need to arrive knowing anything about music.
Already playing?
Bring the things you'd like to improve. That might be steadier rhythm, smoother chord changes, fingerpicking, playing and singing together, or understanding what you're playing.
Lessons for children
A supportive introduction to playing music, with space to build confidence and learn at their own pace. Tell me your child's age, experience and musical interests when you enquire.
I'm Danny.
I've spent the past twenty years writing songs, making records and performing across the UK and Europe, releasing music as Laish and DG Solaris.
Teaching is another part of my musical life. I enjoy helping people get past the things that feel difficult and discover what they can do with an instrument.
Alongside guitar lessons, I offer songwriting mentoring and recording sessions, so there's scope to take your music further if that's where your interests lead.
